How to treat seasonal allergies naturally

Instead of relying on taking anti-histamines, here is how you can treat seasonal allergies naturally. Because hay fever is horrible! And sitting at your desk with itchy eyes and sneezing all day makes you miserable. I know because I suffered with it for years. So I want to share with you the best natural ways to deal with it.

Probably the most magic potion when it comes to allergies is Alkalizing Vitamin C. It is a natural anti-histamine that offers mind blowing relief right away. This will seriously change your life! But as with all supplements, make sure it’s good quality.

Something else to try is Stinging Nettle Tea. This grassy goodness can make a real difference. Or try using natural supplements with quercitine and bromelain in them.

Using a Neti Pot with a saline solution to rinse the nasal passages can help keep them clear. This is also great for sinus infections. I highly recommend giving it a go.

These options should keep you away from pharmaceuticals until you decide to dive a bit deeper into why you are getting allergies.

Many allergies begin with an imbalance in the gut, so gut issues need to be explored. Almost always, once your gut is healed you’ll be back in business! When we get allergies it is an overreaction of the immune system usually due to environmental based triggers like dust, mould, pollen, certain foods etc. But the underlying root cause is almost always the gut.

Also worth noting to stay away from histamine producing foods as they will aggravate your allergies. This includes things like bone broth, smoked foods, aged cheeses, cured meats, leftovers, dried fruit, fermented foods, vinegar, ketchup… to name a few.
